SASARAM------------------------In a significant raid, Karakat police in Rohtas district seized a pistol, live cartridges, and nearly four lakh rupees in cash from a criminal’s residence, arresting two suspects with a history of crime. The operation targeted the house of Arman Alam in Shahri village under Karakat police station, yielding one pistol, 11 live cartridges, two magazines, a Scorpio vehicle, Rs 3,97,600 in cash, and other items. Police also arrested Manish Mishra from Raghunathpur village, who was involved in the incident and had procured the pistol. Bikramganj SDPO Kumar Sanjay confirmed, “Both suspects, Arman Alam and Manish Mishra, have prior criminal records.”
