ARA--------------------------The second semi-final match of the State Level School Inter-Divisional Cricket Boys Under-17 Tournament 2025-26, organized jointly by the Bihar State Sports Authority, Sports Department, and Bhojpur District Administration, was played between Magadh Division and Munger Division at Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium. The match was inaugurated today by former cricketer Dr. Deepak Singh, who was introduced to the players. The captain of Magadh Division won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, Magadh Division scored 183 runs for the loss of four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. For Magadh, Simant scored 18 runs, Ankur 25 runs, Himanshu 32 runs, and Pawan contributed an unbeaten 79 runs. For Munger Division, Suraj, Satyam, Saurabh, and Harsh took one wicket each. Chasing the target, the entire Munger Division team was bowled out for 128 runs. For Munger Division, Utkarsh scored 32 runs, Pratik 21 runs, and Mohd. Fardin 33 runs; no other batsman reached double figures. For Magadh Division, Amit took the maximum four wickets, Nandan took two wickets, and Raj Kamal and Nishant took one wicket each. Magadh defeated Munger by 56 runs and entered the final. Tomorrow's final match will be played between Magadh Division and Darbhanga Division at Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium, Ramna Maidan, Ara, starting at 10 AM. Former secretary of the Bhojpur District Cricket Association, Vinit Rai, former president of the Bhojpur District Cricket Association, Manoj Pandey, Rahul Singh, Shiv Narayan Pal, Krishna Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, and Neeraj Kumar Singh, along with other sports enthusiasts from Bhojpur district, were present on the stage.
