LAUNCH OF CM WOMEN EMPLOYMENT SCHEME

ARA-----------------------The District Officer, while highlighting the importance and objectives of the Women Employment Scheme, said that the transfer of funds will be done in a completely transparent manner.

With the aim of empowering and enriching women, the Bihar government has launched the Chief Minister Women Employment Scheme. With this scheme, women will get opportunities for self-reliance, employment and entrepreneurship. On Sunday, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar launched this scheme and flagged off 250 awareness chariots for its promotion to all the districts of the state.

The live telecast of the launch program of this scheme in Bhojpur was done in the Collectorate Auditorium, Ara, where more than two hundred Jeevika Didi watched the program. On this occasion, District Officer Tanay Sultania, Municipal Commissioner Municipal Corporation, District Project Manager Jeevika, along with many officers and Jeevika workers were present.

The District Officer, while highlighting the importance and objectives of the Women Employment Scheme, said that the transfer of funds will be done in a completely transparent manner. With the launch, an amount of Rs 10,000 will be directly transferred to the accounts of the sisters associated with the Jeevika Self Help Group. Through awareness chariots, people will be informed about the scheme at rural Chaupals, Panchayat buildings and other public places.

During this, short video films will also be screened. Awareness programs will be organized by village organizations in all the blocks of the district from 7 September to 26 September 2025. Apart from this, 3 Mahila Samvad Awareness Raths have also been provided by the State Office, which will visit different places in two shifts every day and make Jeevika sisters and villagers aware for 20 days.
