PATNA--------------------------After the crushing defeat in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Lalu Prasad's party, the RJD, has been constantly in the headlines. The Rashtriya Janata Dal has once again suffered a major blow, with a prominent party leader saying goodbye.

In fact, former Bihar minister and influential RJD leader Vijay Krishna has left the RJD. He has sent his resignation letter to party supremo Lalu Prasad and has resigned from all posts, including the primary membership of the party.

In his resignation letter, Vijay Krishna wrote, "I have decided to withdraw from party politics and active politics. Therefore, I am resigning from the primary membership and all posts of the Rashtriya Janata Dal. Please accept it." It is worth noting that Vijay Krishna is considered one of the influential leaders of the RJD.

Vijay Krishna became a Member of Parliament in the 2004 Lok Sabha elections by defeating JDU veteran leader Nitish Kumar from the Barh parliamentary constituency. He has been playing an active role in RJD politics for a long time, but now, unhappy with the party leadership, he has chosen a different path.
