SASARAM (RNI) Over 100 female constables from the women's battalion at the Beda Police Line in Sasaram, the district headquarters, are admitted to Sadar Hospital. They fell ill after eating contaminated food. All are undergoing treatment at Sadar Hospital. All have been declared out of danger. In this regard, the women's battalion's Commandant, Ashok Kumar Singh, stated that when the female constables returned to their barracks after eating lunch at the Jeevika Mess, they began experiencing stomach pain and hiccups. All the victims were immediately rushed to Sadar Hospital and are undergoing treatment. Civil Surgeon Mani Ranjan stated that all the affected female constables are out of danger. Prima facie, this incident appears to be due to eating contaminated food. It should be noted that the Bihar government has entrusted the kitchen management of many government offices to Jeevika Didis. In such a situation, the negligence of the Jeevika Didis should be investigated to prevent such an unfortunate incident in the future.
