Bhahua SDPO Manoranjan Bharti informed the press that on December 17, 2021, the body of a young man was recovered near the Chanan River in Gudri village. The body was identified as that of Jangbahadur Paswan, the 28-year-old son of Gulab Paswan, a resident of Tori village in Bhagwanpur police station area.

In this case, the deceased's father had filed a complaint at the police station, based on which an FIR was registered against unknown accused, and the police began their investigation.

The deceased's father stated in his application that on the evening of December 16, around 7 pm, his son left home after eating dinner but did not return. The next day, Shahnawaz Mian, a resident of Tori village, came to their house and informed them that Jangbahadur Paswan was being shot by some people on the road leading to Gudri village. He had received this information over the phone from Murari Singh, a resident of Radhakhand.
