BHABHUA------------------------A clash between two parties over a land dispute in the valley area under the Chainpur police station jurisdiction of the subdivision led to a sudden shooting. The incident caused panic in the area. Upon receiving information about the shooting, Amarnath Tiwari, a member of the victim's side, immediately submitted a written application to the Chainpur police station, demanding action. Upon receiving the application, Chainpur police station in-charge Vijay Prasad immediately formed a special team. The team, consisting of station in-charge Vijay Prasad, SIs Pintu Kumar and Narendra Kumar, along with police force, were sent to the scene, where one accused was arrested immediately.
Bhabua SDPO Manoranjan Bharti provided information regarding the incident during a press conference. He stated that the accused named in case number 542/25, registered on November 26, 2025, are Shailesh Pandey and Piyush Pandey, sons of Kameshwar Pandey, residents of Sakim Hata, Chainpur police station, Kaimur. Police recovered a country-made pistol from the accused. Three empty cartridges and a motorcycle were also seized from the scene.
The SDPO also stated that the arrested accused has a prior criminal history. Police are actively investigating the case.
