PATNA---------------------------The Jan Suraj workers who had come out to siege the Vidhan Sabha were stopped by the police at Patel Golambhar and lathicharged, many supporters were injured. A 6-member delegation led by state president Manoj Bharti met the Chief Secretary, submitted a memorandum of their 3 demands

Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishore led the Vidhan Sabha siege today with 3 demands under the pre-scheduled program. Prashant Kishore left with thousands of Jan Suraj supporters from Sheikhpura House on Bailey Road at around 12 noon. The workers of Jan Suraj reached Patel Golambhar via Airport Road. The police tried unsuccessfully to stop the Jan Surajis at Patel Golambhar. But after breaking the first barricade, everyone started moving towards the Vidhan Sabha.

After this, when the police tried to stop them again, thousands of workers including Prashant Kishore sat on a dharna on the road itself. For a long time, the police tried to remove the workers. During this, Patna police also lathicharged the unarmed workers of Jan Suraj. Many supporters were seriously injured in the lathicharge. Many had their heads broken. Many workers were also injured in the scuffle with the police.

PK got angry when the supporters were lathicharged, said to the administration - why did you kill them, if you have the guts, kill me and show it, we will make it difficult for the government to come out of Bihar

During this, Prashant Kishore got angry at the police and administrative officials while talking to the media. He challenged the officials and said that why did you lathicharge the children? Get permission from Nitish Kumar and lathicharge me. If you have the courage, do this, then see, from tomorrow we will make it difficult for the government to come out of Bihar.

Prashant Kishore told that the Chief Secretary has called the delegation for a meeting. He said that if the Chief Secretary does not give in writing that in how many days action will be taken on our demands, then now we will surround Nitish Kumar's Chief Minister's residence. We will bring one lakh people and surround the house. They will not be able to come out.

Meanwhile, a 6-member delegation led by Jan Suraj's state president Manoj Bharti was taken by the Patna district administration to meet the Chief Secretary. The delegation met the Chief Secretary and handed over a memorandum of 3 demands of the party to him. Manoj Bharti said that Jan Suraj has taken signatures of one crore people on these three issues important for the people of Bihar.

These three demands include -

1. When will the 94 lakh poor families identified in the caste census of the year 2023 get assistance of Rs 2 lakh?

2. What happened to the promise of giving 3 decimal land to 50 lakh landless Dalit and backward families?

3. When will the looting in the name of land survey in genealogy, receipt and mutation stop?

After getting assurance of quick action on all three demands from the Chief Secretary, Prashant Kishore and thousands of workers returned peacefully with the delegation.
