ARA---------------------------Cyber police station of Bhojpur district has got a big success. An interstate cyber thug has been arrested, who was wanted in cases of fraud in Ara as well as Bengaluru. The accused has been identified as Gyan Prakash, son of Ashok Kumar Ram, resident of Awadhi village of Daawat police station area of ​​Rohtas district.

This arrest was made by a special team formed under the leadership of Cyber ​​DSP Sneh Setu. Police caught Gyan Prakash from Rohtas district on the basis of technical and scientific investigation. Two mobile phones have also been seized from him. The arrested accused has been involved in cyber fraud at many places.

Information about this case was given by Bhojpur Police through a press release on Wednesday evening. It was told in the statement that Manish Kumar, a resident of Kaulodihari village of Chauri police station area, who runs a cyber cafe, had complained to the police a few days ago. It was told in the complaint that on the evening of April 7, an unknown youth came to the cafe. The young man sent twenty thousand rupees to Manish's account through a UPI scanner and then went away with cash in return. Some time after this, Manish's bank account was put on hold.

After the incident, a special team was formed on the instructions of Bhojpur SP Raj, which was led by Cyber DSP Sneh Setu. The team started technical investigation and gradually traced the accused. In the investigation, it was found that the youth who sent twenty thousand rupees was Gyan Prakash. As soon as the accused was identified, the police raided Rohtas district on Monday and arrested him.

During interrogation after the arrest, Gyan Prakash admitted that he had committed the fraud in Ara. Apart from this, he also confessed that in the month of April this year, he had also carried out a cyber fraud in Pulakeshi Nagar police station area of ​​Bengaluru. There he had cheated Rs 1 lakh 75 thousand 662. In this case too, Bengaluru Police has registered a case against him.

In this arrest action, the role of Inspector Pintu Kumar, Inspector Gandhi Nath Pathak, Swati Rani, Mohd. Ali, PTC Jitendra Kumar, constable Amarendra Kumar and driver constable Shahbaz Alam of Cyber Police Station Ara was commendable.

This action of Bhojpur Police is part of the campaign being run against cyber criminals. Cyber DSP Sneh Setu said that strict action will continue against such criminals and appealed to the general public to immediately inform the cyber police station about any kind of online fraud or cheating.
