ARA---------------------------A woman was found seriously injured behind a mall in Piro Bazaar, under the jurisdiction of the Piro police station in Bhojpur district, on Saturday night. The woman is believed to be a victim of a drug trafficking ring. On Sunday, Piro police brought her to Sadar Hospital in Ara for immediate treatment, where she is undergoing treatment. According to reports, the injured woman identified herself as Nilofar, a resident of Malegaon in Maharashtra's Nashik district.

Sunny Kumar, a PTC constable posted at Piro Police Station, who brought the woman to the hospital for treatment, stated that late Saturday night, locals reported a woman lying injured behind the mall in Piro Bazaar. Upon receiving the information, a Dial 112 police vehicle immediately arrived at the scene and the woman was brought to the Piro police station. Upon receiving instructions, she was brought to Sadar Hospital for further treatment. However, clear information about how the woman sustained her injuries and how she reached Piro market is still unclear.

Nilofar, the injured woman, recounted her ordeal, stating that she had boarded an autorickshaw from her home in Malegaon, Nashik, to go to the market. Later, two unknown young men boarded the autorickshaw. She remembers nothing after that. When she regained consciousness, she found herself on a moving train. She alleges that the two men attempted to force themselves on her, which she resisted. A scuffle ensued, and in the ensuing scuffle, she fell from the train, sustaining serious injuries. However, she does not remember how she reached Piro after falling from the train. Police are investigating the matter thoroughly.
