INDEBTED YOUTH COMMITS SUICIDE BY CONSUMING POISON

ARA-----------------------------A debt ridden youth committed suicide by consuming poison at Telganj Baligaon under Ayar police station in Bhojpur district. The deceased was identified as Sipahi Chaudhary 41 son of Bhola Chaudhary of Talganj Baligaon village under Ayar police station. He was a labourer by profession. The police recovered the body and brought it to the Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

Jhuni Devi, wife of the deceased said that Sipahi Chaudhary had two problems. He had taken a loan of about Rs. 35000 and was in tense. For the last 10 days he was only consuming drugs and was not even eating food. For the last two days, he was sleeping outside the house. On Saturday afternoon, he brought poisonous substance and ate it. Her son Jitesh saw foam coming out of his mouth and called her. The family members rushed him to the Ara Sadar Hospital but doctor referred him to the Patna Medical College and Hospital in precarious condition but he breathed his last on way to the PMCH.
