A heart-wrenching incident came to light in Dulhinganj village of Jagdishpur police station area of ​​Bhojpur district. Hurt by her mother's scolding, a 12-year-old teenager made an unsuccessful attempt to commit suicide by hanging herself. After the incident, there was a stir in the family and the teenager was hurriedly brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment, from where she has been referred to Patna for better treatment. Her condition remains critical.

According to the information, the teenager has been identified as Muni Kumari, 12-year-old daughter of Budha Nat, a resident of Dulhinganj village. The teenager's mother Nasimuni said that Muni had gone out of the house in the dark to roam around. On returning home, the mother scolded her and said, "The times are not good in today's time, why did you go out without telling?" On this, her mother slapped her twice.

Hurried by the scolding and slap, Muni did not eat food and went to her room and closed the door. Her mother thought that she had gone to sleep, but when she did not wake up even after a while, she tried to open the door. When a groaning sound was heard from inside, other family members were called. As soon as the door was opened, it was seen that Muni was hanging from the latch after making a noose with her sari.

She was immediately taken down from the noose and brought to Ara Sadar Hospital. The on-duty doctor said that the girl's condition is critical and after first aid, she has been referred to Patna.
