People started arriving at Ambedkar Chowk from early morning. Special arrangements had been made at the statue site by the district administration. During the tribute ceremony, those present expressed their respect by offering flowers to Babasaheb's picture and statue. Throughout the program, slogans like 'Dr. Ambedkar Amar Rahein' (Long live Dr. Ambedkar) resonated. After paying tribute, District Magistrate Dr. Vidyanand Singh said that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was not only the architect of the Indian Constitution but also a strong supporter of equality, brotherhood, education, and social justice.
He struggled throughout his life to bring every weaker section of society into the mainstream. The District Magistrate said that Babasaheb's life of struggle and his ideological legacy are still a source of inspiration for every generation. Only by internalizing his ideas can the country move forward in the direction of social harmony. He said that Dr. Ambedkar had described education as the most powerful medium for social reform. Therefore, it is our responsibility to be vigilant in ensuring that education reaches every last person in society and to guarantee equal opportunities.
He said that eliminating discrimination and inequality prevalent in society would be the real step towards fulfilling Babasaheb's dreams. The officials and common people present at the program collectively resolved that they would continuously strive to build a just, inclusive, and egalitarian society envisioned by Dr. Ambedkar. Everyone pledged to contribute to promoting harmony in society, spreading education, uplifting weaker sections, and providing equal opportunities to every citizen.
During the tribute program, administrative officials also said that Babasaheb's life message teaches us that nation-building is possible only when every citizen receives equal rights and opportunities. His ideas still strengthen the democratic values of the country and guide society towards progress. The program concluded in a peaceful and respectful atmosphere. Local citizens said that such events provide the younger generation with an opportunity to understand Babasaheb's struggles and contributions, which instills awareness and inspiration in society.
