HINDI STRENGTHENS NATIONAL UNITY: BALIRAJ THAKUR

ARA---------------------------Hindi Diwas was celebrated under the aegis of Bhojpur District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan in the dignified presence of former Vice Chancellor Dr. Durg Vijay Singh and Prof. Mahesh Singh. The program was presided over by the President of the conference Prof. Baliraj Thakur. The program began with a floral tribute to the picture of Mother Saraswati. Prof. Baliraj Thakur, while throwing light on Hindi language and literature in detail, said that Hindi strengthens national unity. Hindi will also move forward with the strength of India. Hindi has its own place. Prof. Diwakar Pandey said that Hindi has become a world language with its life force. He expressed his anguish over Hindi not being made the national language. Poet critic Jitendra Kumar said that Hindi language is constantly updating itself. The acceptance of the digital form of Devanagari script has given global acceptance to the Hindi language. The President of the conference Dr. Nandji Dubey said that after gaining independence, Hindi language has been made a global language. The enthusiasm in the country to make Hindi the national language waned after independence. The chief speaker was Prof. Kaushalya Sharma. Jagatnandan Sahay, Ramesh Singh Prapan, Alakh Anari and Rakesh Ojha recited poetry on this occasion. Other speakers included Shivdas Singh, Brahmeshwar Dasondhi. The program was conducted by Rakesh Tiwari and the vote of thanks was given by Shashikant Tiwari.
