BUXAR--------------------------The district's name has once again shone brightly on the national stage. Hemant Mishra, a bright young man from Kusurpa village in Rajpur block of Buxar district, has achieved a remarkable feat by securing the 13th rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024. On Tuesday, he was allotted the Uttar Pradesh cadre, which brought immense joy to his family and village. His uncle, Bajrangi Mishra, confirmed this achievement and expressed his immense happiness.

Hemant Mishra was currently working as a trainee SDM in Mirzapur. His journey in the administrative service has been very inspiring. Coming from a middle-class family, Hemant's father, Omprakash Mishra, is an APO in the Education Department in Kaimur, while his mother, Namrata Mishra, is a teacher in a private school.

Hemant completed his early education from a private school in Buxar. He completed his intermediate studies from DAV Patna. After that, he completed his graduation from Jamia Millia Islamia University and his postgraduate studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

Hemant's uncle, Bajrangi Mishra, said that he has been extremely talented in academics from the beginning. In his first attempt in 2022, he secured the 8th rank in the UP PCS examination. In 2023, he cleared the UP PCS exam and secured the post of DSP. Then, in 2024, he again achieved success in the UP PCS and became an SDM. This year, he also cleared the BPSC examination and secured the post of Election Officer, and now, by securing the 13th rank in UPSC, he has multiplied the pride of his district and family manifold.

As soon as the news of him becoming an IAS officer with the Uttar Pradesh cadre reached the village, sweets were distributed. People flocked to his house to congratulate the family. Villagers said that Hemant has not only made the village proud but the entire Buxar district.

This achievement of the 25-year-old Hemant Mishra is an inspiration for all students and youth. By achieving consistent success in several competitive exams, he has proven that with hard work, dedication, and commitment to one's goals, anything is possible.
