PATNA------------------------A review meeting of the District Health Committee was held at the Collectorate, chaired by District Magistrate Dr. Tyagarajan. Health department officials were instructed to prioritize providing quality, reliable, and timely healthcare services to the district's residents. The District Magistrate urged doctors and health workers to pay special attention to regular attendance at hospitals, providing free medication and testing to patients, and ensuring that benefits of government schemes reach those in need.

The meeting emphasized the successful implementation of the "Healthy Women Empowered Family Campaign" (September 17th to October 2nd). Instructions were given to organize activities such as anemia screening, nutrition and health counseling, vaccinations, and eye screenings for women and children through health camps throughout the district. Patna district ranked first in Bihar in HPV vaccination and Aabha card creation, for which the District Magistrate commended the doctors and health workers.

The District Magistrate directed the district administration to ensure regular monitoring of Ayushman card holders' treatment, dengue control, hearing and hearing programs, and standards such as OPD, IPD, ANC, and institutional delivery at the block level. All doctors, block health managers, and paramedical staff were also asked to be prompt at their duty stations and remain committed to providing excellent healthcare to citizens.
