HALF A DOZEN SCHOOL CHILDREN INJURED WHEN A BUS OVERTURNED INTO A DITCH

ARA------------------------------About half a dozen school students were injured when a school bus overturned into a ditch from Bahoranpur Dam near Shyam Baba Temple under Bahoranpur police station in Bhojpur district in the morning. The locals rushed the injured school students to nearby private clinics and also informed their guardians. On information, the guardians arrived at the spot and took their sons and daughters to private nursing home for better treatment. The driver of the bus escaped from the scene after the incident.

SHO Bahoranpur police station Sushant Kumar said that a bus of a private school at Sandaur village under Bihia police station was carrying the students of Damodarpur, Nauranga, Jawainiya villages and as the bus reached on the Bahoranpur dam, a tractor was coming from opposite direction and in his bid to give pass to the tractor,  as the lane was single, the driver lost control over the steering and the bus fell into a ditch.
