ARA----------------------------If the central government does not restore the discount given to senior citizens in railway tickets by August 15, 2025, then the organization will be forced to start a phased movement across the country. The national president of the organization Dhirendra Prasad Singh said the above while addressing the meeting of the National Working Committee and Bhojpur District Committee. Mr. Singh said that the number of senior citizens in the entire country has reached about 10 crore 80 lakhs, yet the central government is treating senior citizens step-motherly. The organization's patron Raghav Prasad Singh, National General Secretary Dr. Diwakar Pandey, Vice President Ashok Kumar Mishra said that during the Corona period, the central government had temporarily suspended the discount given to senior citizens in railway tickets. But despite repeated assurances, Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnav has not restored the discount given to senior citizens in railway tickets. District President of the organization Harendra Singh, Joint General Secretary Bharat Bhushan Mishra, Treasurer Ravindra Nath Jogendra Singh, Professor Amarendra Kumar while addressing the meeting said that senior citizens should get the facility of Ayushman Card from the age of 60. Many important proposals were passed in the meeting, in which the main demands include announcing a big scheme for senior citizens at the national level, building old age homes at the sub-division level in the entire country, implementing mobile medical service in all 797 districts of the country, providing leave facility to the family members of senior citizens in case of incurable disease or during Shraddha Karma, giving 50% concession in traveling by air, arrangements for medicine, food and security for senior citizens in already running old age homes should be made in sufficient quantity. Among the prominent people present in the meeting were Uday Pratap, Triloki Nath Singh, Umesh Rai, Akhilesh Kumar Singh, Ashok Kumar, Surendra Singh, Sushil Rai, Siddheshwar Tiwari, Govardhan Singh. In the end, District President Harendra Singh expressed his gratitude.
