FOUNDATION STONE OF SCHEMES LAID UNDER “CHIEF MINISTER’S COMPREHENSIVE URBAN DEVELOPMENT SCHEME”

ARA------------------------State Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of 1327 schemes at a total cost of Rs 1002 crore under the “Chief Minister Comprehensive Urban Development Scheme” implemented by Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation through video conferencing in Patna. In these, the foundation stone of 15 schemes was laid under Bhojpur district at a total cost of Rs 6,98,79,995. This program was telecast live in the Bhojpur Collectorate Auditorium. This includes four schemes under Ara Municipal Corporation and four schemes of Piro Municipal Council. These were approved by the CM. On this occasion, Radha Charan Shah (Bihar Legislative Council Member), Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha (Bihar Legislative Council Member), Amarendra Pratap Singh (Assembly Member, Ara), Indu Devi (Mayor, Ara Municipal Corporation), Bhojpur District Magistrate Tanay Sultania and Deputy Development Commissioner Dr. Anupama Singh along with other dignitaries were present.

The schemes were approved due to the efforts of Ara MLA Amarendra Pratap Singh and Mayor Indu Devi.  In ward number-29 under Ara Municipal Corporation area, PCC path will be constructed from Ahirpurwa turn via Baluwahia to Moti Tola Bhid. For this, an amount of ₹ 86.84.691 has been approved.  In Ward No. 2 of Ara city, there is road construction work from Ara Gangi Teen Muhani to Awadhut Bhagwan Ram School Kunwar Singh College S.N. Memorial School via Sat Pahari to Ara-Buxar four lane. Its approved amount is 99.22.831/-.In the same city ward number-32-33, there is a big drain and PCC construction work from Meetha Kuan to Hanuman Tola via Supan Mahato's house via Mathura Pandit's house. The approved amount for this is Rs. 16979541/-. In ward no.5 of the city, there is PCC road construction work from Majhowa Dagar Jitendra Singh's house via Yadav Toli to Munna Singh's house, for which an amount of ₹ 40,72,381 has been approved.
