ARA------------------------------Dadan Pehalwan said that today the situation is such that one Jaichand sees Lalu as "Dhritarashtra."

Former Minister Dadan Yadav (Pehalwan) targeted the RJD's Jaichands without naming them, saying that the year 2000 was a turning point in my political journey. When I won the election as an independent candidate and supported Rabri Devi to form the government, I was given the responsibility of a ministerial post. Since then, two Jaichands from Shahabad were determined to end my political career and have been plotting this for years. To some extent, they have succeeded.

These two individuals not only kept me away from the Lalu family but also tried to block my political path every time. Today the situation is such that one Jaichand sees Lalu as "Dhritarashtra." During a cabinet meeting, the Tata car issue was deliberately raised to defame the family, and the news was published in the newspapers. "Even then, I told Lalu Prasad Yadav that this person is neither right for me nor for you." However, in politics, truth often gets overshadowed by the stubbornness of the powerful. In 2004 and 2009, Lalu Prasad Yadav himself called me for a Lok Sabha ticket, but the stubbornness of the Jaichands blocked my path. He contested the elections himself, and I also contested as an independent candidate. The result of the people's immense love and trust was that I was the runner-up, while he finished third.

Look at the party's history: over the past 15 years, these 'Jaichands' have only promoted their family politics. Whenever they had the opportunity, they ignored the party and pursued their own or their family's interests. The real contribution to the party comes from true workers who carry the party's flag without any greed, not these Jaichands who only care about their own convenience.

Despite all these conspiracies, I have neither bowed nor broken. I left my job as a government teacher to serve the people. I am a teacher, a wrestler, a warrior—a soldier of the people. Defeat and fatigue are not in my vocabulary. I will continue to fight feudal thinking and the evils of politics until my last breath.
