ARA----------------------------The Samadhi of the former Deputy Prime Minister of India, Messiah of Dalits and Founder President of All India Equality Movement, Late Babuji Jagjivan Ji is located in his native village: Chandwa, Ara, District: Bhojpur, Bihar. Today on July 07, 2025, at 05: oo pm, on the auspicious occasion of his death anniversary, Honorable President of Bihar State JDU, Mahanagar, Ara, Bhojpur, Shri Jai Prakash Chaudhary ji, Advocate cum JDU District Spokesperson Devi Dayal Ram, JDU Vice President Shri Surendra Singh ji, Brij Kishore Chaudhary ji, Siyaram Mishra ji, Jitendra Chandravandi ji, social worker cum JDU member, Ramesh Kumar, Sudhir Ram worker Kanhaiya Ram, Ashok Ram, Ram Ishwar Ram, Ramjit Ram, Rajendra Ram, Fakirchand Ram, Satyendra Ram, Basudev Ram, Hareram Yadav, Kumar etc. paid true tribute by offering flowers at the Samadhi of Late Babuji Jagjivan Ram ji. They raised slogans of Babuji Amar Rahe! Amar Rahe! in a sensitive posture. Devi Dayal Ram said that Babuji died on 6th July, 1986 in New Delhi. His last rites were performed on 7th July, 1986 at the cremation ground of Shivnarayan sect located in Chandwa, Ara. The then President of India Giani Zail Singh and the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi attended the cremation with state honors. The Commander in Chief of the Indian Army, senior officers and soldiers who came with the body saluted the late Defense Minister Babuji and lowered their weapons by firing a gun. Everyone bid a tearful farewell to Babuji Jagjivan Ram. Jai Prakash Chaudhary said that late Babuji Jagjivan Ram was one of the great men of India. He was a first line freedom fighter. He served the nation by holding many important political positions in India. We should take inspiration from his life ideals.
