FIVE DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED WITH 26.07 GRAMS OF HEROIN

BHABHUA---------------------------The Kudra police of the district achieved a major success on Thursday by arresting five people with 26.07 grams of heroin like narcotic substance from Nishan Singh Stadium located in Nagar Panchayat Kudra. Cash and mobile phones have also been recovered from the accused. According to the information received from police station in-charge Vikas Kumar, this action was taken on the basis of a secret information. The police had received secret information on 24 July 2025 that Harsh Kumar, son of Guddu Singh, a resident of Kudra, along with his associates, was doing the business of buying and selling heroin in Nishan Singh Stadium. Considering the seriousness of the information, the Mohania Sub-Divisional Police Officer was immediately informed about it. On his instructions, a special raiding team was formed, which also included Kudra Revenue Officer Narayan Rai as the local magistrate.

The police team in plain clothes cordoned off the area near the shed in the eastern part of the Nishan Singh Stadium and raided the area. On seeing the police, the youths present there tried to run away, but the team caught all five of them.

The main accused arrested has been identified as Harsh Kumar (19 years), a resident of Ward No. 9 of Kudra. 22.46 grams of heroin, Rs 5,800 in cash and a Samsung Android mobile phone were recovered from him.

The other arrested accused include Sudhir Kumar Paswan (32 years) of Ughni village of Chenari (Rohtas) police station area, Rajesh Kumar (35 years) of Shivpur (Chilbili) of Kudra police station area, Bajrangi Kumar (30 years) and Pappu Bind (32 years). 0.86 grams of heroin and Rs 1820 were recovered from Sudhir, 0.91 grams from Rajesh, 0.98 grams from Bajrangi and 0.86 grams of heroin and Rs 70 from Pappu Bind.

Police have registered a case against all the accused under the NDPS Act and have started further investigation. Police are trying to trace other members of this gang and the source of the drugs.
