FIRE SAFETY MOCK DRILL CONDUCTED

BUXAR---------------------------A team from the Fire Department conducted a comprehensive inspection of all government hospitals in the Dumraon sub-division area. This campaign, aimed at strengthening fire safety, included a fire audit and a mock drill.

The inspection campaign was conducted under the direction of District Fire Officer Vinod Kumar Yadav and led by Sub-Divisional Fire Station Officer Shikha Kumari. The team included firemen Sanju Kumar, Manibhushan, and Ankit Kumar.

During the inspection, fire safety equipment was checked at all government hospitals, including Dumraon Sub-Divisional Hospital, Primary Health Center Kes, Primary Health Center Brahmapur, and Primary Health Center Simri. The team advised that deficiencies found in fire safety equipment at several locations be rectified immediately.

The fire department team provided hospital staff with information on the correct use of fire safety equipment in case of a fire and demonstrated rescue techniques in a real-life scenario through a mock drill. Pamphlets related to fire safety were also distributed to raise awareness so that people can take appropriate action in case of an emergency.

Officer Shikha Kumari said that fire safety in government hospitals is an extremely important issue and that regular inspections can prevent potential accidents.
