FIR AGAINST FIVE IN THE MURDER OF AN ELDERLY WOMAN

ARA---------------------------An FIR has been registered in the case of the murder of an elderly woman, Roshni Bibi, in Dawan village of Jagdishpur police station area in Bhojpur district, stemming from a dispute over garbage. A case has been registered against five people from the neighborhood based on the statement of the deceased Roshni Bibi's daughter, Saida Khatoon.

The police have taken swift action in this case and arrested three of the named accused and sent them to jail. These include Anju Devi, wife of Parmeshwar Sah, her son Amritesh Prasad alias Vicky Kumar, and daughter Khushboo Kumari, all residents of Dawan village. Raids are being conducted to arrest the other accused.

It may be noted that on Monday morning, a fight broke out between two groups in Dawan village over a dispute about garbage disposal. In the fight, Roshni Bibi and her sister-in-law were injured. Two people from the other side also sustained injuries. Roshni Bibi died during treatment.

Meanwhile, the FIR registered regarding the murder states that the dispute started with an argument and escalated into a fight. The accused attacked Roshni Bibi with an iron rod, seriously injuring her. Her family members took her to Jagdishpur Sub-Divisional Hospital for treatment, from where she was referred to Patna. She died on the way.
