ARA---------------------------A video of an EVM during voting was uploaded to the social media platform Facebook through the Facebook IDs of Dharampal Singh, son of Barhara, Ashok Kumar Singh alias Rambabu Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Vishal Yadav, Abhiraj Rai, Akhilesh Kumar, Santosh Yadav, Utsav Kumar Rai, student leader Dhanesh Yadav, and Sachin Kumar Yadav.

Ara. Police have taken a strict stance in the case of a video of an EVM being cast during the Bihar Assembly elections and uploaded it to their Facebook IDs. In this case, a case has been filed against 10 people, including son of Barhara, Ashok Kumar Singh alias Rambabu Singh, for violating the Model Code of Conduct. Superintendent of Police Raj issued a press release on Friday informing them of this. In the press release issued, the SP has said that on the social media platform Facebook, through the Facebook IDs of Dharampal Singh, Badhara's son Ashok Kumar Singh alias Rambabu Singh, Sanjay Kumar, Vishal Yadav, Abhiraj Rai, Akhilesh Kumar, Santosh Yadav, Utsav Kumar Rai, student leader Dhanesh Yadav and Sachin Kumar Yadav, a video of the EVM during voting was made and uploaded on their social media platform Facebook.

This conduct is a clear violation of the Model Code of Conduct and the instructions of the Election Commission. An FIR has been registered against the above Facebook ID holders in the local police station and legal action is being taken. The SP has appealed to the general public that the social media team of Bhojpur Police is keeping a close watch on all social media platforms. The general public should refrain from doing such activities.
