ARA--------------------------A fertilizer shopkeeper who had left his home was murdered with a sharp weapon on Saturday night in a field in Musahar Toli of Jadopur village, under the Tiyar police station area of the district. The incident has caused a sensation in the village and surrounding areas.
Upon receiving the information, Tiyar Station House Officer Rajiv Ranjan reached the spot and started investigating the matter. The police also called the FSL team to the crime scene. The team collected several pieces of evidence from the spot.
According to the information, the deceased has been identified as Parmatma Singh, 42, son of Siddhnath Singh, a resident of Ward No. 15 of Yadavpur village under the Tiyar police station area. He was a fertilizer shopkeeper and ran his shop in the village itself.
Meanwhile, the deceased's younger brother, Atma Singh, told 'Khabre Aapki' that his brother had come home from his shop on Friday evening and left the house around 9:30 pm, but did not return home that night. On Saturday morning, local villagers informed them that his body was lying in a field in Musahar Toli of the village.
