FAMILY MEMBERS FOUND THE ELDERLY WOMAN’S WALKING STICK AND GLASSES ON RIVERBANK

ARA-------------------------The body of an elderly woman who drowned in a river in Chhoti Sasaram village, within the Gajrajganj OP area of ​​the district, has been recovered on the second day. Her body was recovered from the river on Thursday evening. According to information, the deceased was Dhanrajiya Kunwar, 75, wife of Rameshwar Ram, a resident of Chhoti Sasaram village, within the Gajrajganj OP area.

Harbhajan Chaudhary, a friend of the deceased's son, said that she had gone to bathe in the village river on Wednesday afternoon. She drowned while bathing. When she did not return home after a considerable time, her family went searching for her near the river. They found her walking stick and glasses lying on the riverbank.

A search was then conducted with the help of local residents, but the body was not found until Wednesday evening. On Thursday morning, the local police station called in the SDRF team. After hours of tireless efforts by the SDRF team, the body was pulled from the water in the evening.

The police conducted a post-mortem examination at Sadar Hospital. It is reported that the deceased has three sons, Jamuna Ram, Hareram, Siya Ram, and a daughter, Seema Devi. Following the incident, all the family members of the deceased are inconsolable.
