ARA------------------------------At the time of elections, political parties often make a lot of noise about development in the area using Veer Kunwar Singh's name. Leaders make false promises of development using his name and legacy to garner their vote bank. But those who dream of becoming saviors before elections do not even try to remove the plight here after becoming public representatives.

But these promises could never be fulfilled on the ground. Every 5 years, only talks are made in the name of Veer Kunwar Singh's development.

And despite using Veer Kunwar Singh's name, real development did not take place. Veer Kunwar Singh's fort is a victim of neglect where even today the legacy of his bravery is getting tarnished due to government apathy. Both the Central and Bihar governments are not serious about Veer Kunwar Singh's legacy due to which the security and development of his fort is not happening. Due to neglect, Veer Kunwar Singh's fort and museum are falling into disrepair. His historical heritage is on the verge of extinction.

The pond near the fort where Babu Veer Kunwar Singh used to bathe and worship is today forced to shed tears over its neglect and misery. There is a pile of garbage all around the pond. Not only this, the condition of the system is such that people are using this historical pond of Veer Kunwar Singh to defecate and urinate. Also, the garbage coming out of the illegal shops built on encroachment on the banks of the pond is also thrown here. But the local administration is ignoring all the mismanagement.

Rallies and meetings are organized in the name of Kunwar Singh during elections. From the country's first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad to former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, leaders of various political parties talked about bringing the Ganga of development during election meetings. Lalu Yadav's announcement proved to be a mere hoax.

On the pretext of remembering Veer Kunwar Singh, the leaders keep an eye on the vote bank. As the time of elections approaches, the demand is being raised to declare Jagdishpur a tourist destination to remain in the media. The tradition of wooing the vote bank of a particular caste has started.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah had reached Veer Kunwar Singh's city Jagdishpur under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav program of the Central Government. Where a one-way record was made by hoisting more than 77 thousand national flags. In Jagdishpur, Amit Shah had announced that the Government of India would build a memorial in his name. Amit Shah's announcements have not been implemented till date.
