ESSAY COMPETITION ORGANIZED AS PART OF WILDLIFE WEEK

SASARAM------------------------As part of Wildlife Week 2025, a successful program was held at the Saint Joseph School campus at Kanodia Pump. The program was inaugurated by Forester Amlesh Kumar, School Director and Bihar Public School and Children Welfare Association District President Santosh Kumar, Forest Guard Rohit Kumar, and Kavi Kishore by jointly lighting a lamp. This educational initiative aimed to foster interest in wildlife conservation among students.

As part of this program, an essay competition on forests and wildlife was held for students in grades 6 and 7. Forester Amlesh Kumar, the program coordinator, stated that 50 students participated in the competition, and all were inspired to protect forests and wildlife. In this competition, the students who secured first position, Aarav Mehta from Class-7, Shreya Singh from Class-6 and Aryan Kumar from Class-7 were honored by giving mementos by the Rohtas Forest Department and all the children who participated in this program were given consolation prizes. School Director Santosh Kumar told that on the instructions of Rohtas DFO, an awareness rally was taken out from Rohtas Forest Department office to Sasaram Nehru Park on Tuesday under Wildlife Week 2025. On the last day of Wildlife Week 2025, on 8 October 2025, various types of activities will be organized among the children of junior section in Saint Joseph School campus.
