ENCOUNTER BETWEEN KIDNAPPERS AND POLICE, TWO INJURED, TEACHER RELEASED

SASARAM------------------------Criminals fired at police who went to search for a kidnapped person in Takiya of Sasaram Nagar police station area. Two criminals injured by bullets fired by police in self-defense. Total six kidnappers arrested. Treatment of injured continues in Sadar Hospital, Sasaram. Kidnapped person recovered safely. Regarding the incident, Deputy Inspector General of Police of Shahabad region Dr. Satya Prakash said that last Friday evening, Dilip Kumar, a teacher of Government Middle School Kapsiyan of Kochas police station area, was kidnapped while returning home from school. Police received information that the kidnapped person was kept hidden in Takiya, where the police went to raid. DIG said that some weapons have also been recovered in this incident. Further action of the police is going on. In which a fierce encounter took place late night between police and criminals in Takiya market of Nagar police station area in Sasaram. This was the same gang which had kidnapped Dilip Kumar, physical teacher of Madhya Vidyalaya Kapasia of Kochas police station area. The police have freed Dilip Kumar safely and arrested seven criminals. According to information, the kidnappers had kept Dilip Kumar hostage in a semi-constructed house in Takiya Bazaar and were demanding a ransom of Rs 5 lakh from his family.
