EMPTY LAP IN ONE NIGHT

PATNA-------------------------Like every year, this time too, children had reached their maternal grandparents' house to celebrate the holy festival of Rakhi, but who knew that this happiness would turn into mourning in one night. In Paliganj, Patna, food poisoning left a mother's lap empty and took away the lives of three innocent children of the same family.

This heartbreaking incident happened on Monday night in Khiri Par village of Khirimor police station area. Three children had come to their maternal grandparents' house with their mother to celebrate Rakhi. When they were fed milk after dinner at night, their health started deteriorating within a short time. The family rushed them to a private hospital in Paliganj, from where they were referred to Arwal Sadar Hospital.

But destiny had something else in store. Five-year-old Vikas Kumar and three-year-old Mohit Kumar died during treatment. The third girl, Nidhi Kumari, was in such a critical condition that she was referred to Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH), but she also lost the battle of life.

The children's maternal grandfather, Kamlesh Thakur, told with teary eyes that the milk was brought from his neighbor's house. The incident has shocked the entire village. The children's father, Mohan Thakur, who works in Surat, is devastated by this sad news. The police have registered a case and the Food Safety Department is also investigating the entire matter thoroughly to find out what caused the three innocent children to lose their lives.
