EC IS MAKING FALSE STATEMENTS, LIST OF DELETED VOTERS HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED: KUNAL

ARA----------------------CPI-ML State Secretary Kunal has said that the Election Commission is making false statements regarding giving the list of about 65 lakh deleted voters to all political parties. We have not received this list yet.

The Commission has announced that out of all the voters registered in the voter list published on 24 June 2025, whose names are not in the draft list of 01 August 2025, their complete information (including categories of deceased, permanently transferred, duplicate, unavailable etc.) has been shared with all recognized parties. The Commission has also made public the number of voters falling under these categories.

The fact is that the list has been received but it does not mention the reasons due to which their names have been removed. In such a situation, it is difficult for us to find out the truth. The Commission is giving such a list from which we cannot reach any conclusion.

Even in the list received on 16 July 2025 at the district level, there was no mention of the reasons for removal.

We have repeatedly requested the Chief Electoral Officer, Bihar through letters to provide us the list of all 65 lakh voters at the state level with clear reasons, but the Commission has not been able to provide it yet.

Today once again CPI-ML has written a letter to the Election Commission demanding to make this list available within 24 hours.
