SASARAM-----------------A review meeting related to CMR supply under Kharif Marketing Season 2024–25 was convened under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Udita Singh Rohtas. Deputy Development Commissioner Vijay Pandey Rohtas, District Cooperative Officer Rohtas, District Manager, State Food Corporation Rohtas and Cooperative Extension Officers of all blocks were present in the meeting.

A total of 359450.984 M.T. paddy was procured in the district under the year 2024-25, against which a total of 236543.76 M.T. CMR has been supplied to the State Food Corporation, which is 96.24 percent of the total target and 318.97 lots of CMR remains. In the course of review, the Cooperative Extension Officer of all the blocks was directed in strict words that all the blocks will ensure to supply 100% CMR to the State Food Corporation as per the prescribed date i.e. by 10.08.2025. Otherwise, departmental action will be taken. The District Cooperative Officer, Rohtas was directed to ask strict reasons to the Cooperative Extension Officer of Block Kargahar and Block Karakat. A large quantity of CMR remains to be supplied in both the blocks. Also, the Sub-Divisional Officer, Sasaram / Dehri / Bikramganj was directed that in the committees where the remaining CMR is to be supplied in large quantity i.e. more than 5 lots, he himself will ensure to do the work of supervision on his own level every day. The District Manager, State Food Corporation was directed that the committees should not face any shortage of approval orders and gunny bags at any level. In the end, the meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks by the District Officer, Rohtas, while giving instructions to supply 100% of the remaining CMR in the district.
