DM REVIEWED THE PROGRESS OF VARIOUS SCHEMES RUN UNDER ICDS

ARA-------------------------------Today, a review meeting was held in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Bhojpur Tanay Sultania regarding the progress of various schemes run under ICDS Directorate. While reviewing the activities related to the Nutrition Campaign during the meeting, the District Magistrate directed the District Program Officer (ICDS) to ensure timely distribution of nutrition by completing the FRS of all the beneficiaries soon. Along with this, instructions were also given to give priority to uploading 100% data on all the indicators of the Nutrition Tracker. While reviewing the physical condition of Anganwadi centers, the District Magistrate clearly said that the facility of tap water and toilet should be ensured at each center without delay. Apart from this, all the concerned officers were directed to fulfill the monthly target set under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana.

Also, DPO ICDS was directed to regularly update data on the nutrition tracker and inspect Anganwadi centers from time to time to ensure 100% fulfillment of all the set targets.

DPO, ICDS, all Child Development Project Officers, District Coordinator (Nutrition Campaign) and District Mission Coordinator along with other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
