ARA---------------------------A significant initiative has been taken in Bhojpur to organize, secure, and empower digital and web journalism. At a meeting of the Bhojpur district unit of the Web Journalists Association of India (WJAI), new leadership was elected through a democratic and unanimous process. This meeting not only infused new energy into the organization but also created a strong platform for protecting the interests of journalists.

A crucial meeting of the Bhojpur district unit of the Web Journalists Association of India (WJAI) was held at Hotel Grand, Bhojpur. The main objectives of the meeting were to strengthen the organization, protect the interests of journalists, and conduct elections for the district unit's office bearers.

The meeting was presided over by the organization's Bihar in-charge, Madhup Mani Pinku, while the election process was conducted with complete transparency and in a democratic manner under the supervision of the organization's National Joint Secretary, Mithilesh Mishra.

All the members present unanimously elected Azad Kumar Bharti, editor of Sanmarg and ATN News Channel, as the President of the Web Journalists Association of India, Bhojpur district unit. O.P. Pandey (Om Prakash Pandey), Senior Content Editor of Patna Now portal and Bhojpur Bureau Chief of Sahara Samay Digital, was unanimously elected as the Secretary.

Addressing the meeting, Bihar in-charge Madhup Mani Pinku said that in this era of digital and web journalism, it is extremely important for journalists to be organized so that they can protect their interests and deliver impartial, fearless, and truthful news to society. He congratulated the newly elected office bearers and expressed his expectation that they would make the organization even more active in the district.

National Joint Secretary Mithilesh Mishra said that WJAI is continuously working across the country for the rights, respect, and security of digital journalists. He described the formation of the Bhojpur district unit and the election process as significant from an organizational perspective.

The newly elected President Azad Kumar Bharti and Secretary O.P. Pandey expressed their gratitude to the organization and said that they would work together with all their fellow journalists to strengthen the organization and address the problems of journalists on a priority basis. The meeting was attended by Dharmendra Kumar, Rajiv Ranjan Srivastava, Vishal Singh Vicky, Alok Kumar Bharti, Satyaprakash Singh, Vikas Singh, and several other journalists and organization members. The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and concluded with a resolution to further strengthen the organization.
