PATNA--------------------------The Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Sleeper train will have a stop at this station in Bihar. The train features modern amenities such as Kavach anti-collision system, CCTV cameras, automatic doors, and high-speed internet. Operations expected to begin in the new year.

This is great news for passengers in Bihar: the Vande Bharat Sleeper train, which will soon start operating on the Delhi-Patna route, will also stop at Ara Junction. This decision will be a great boon for the people of Bhojpur district and southwestern Bihar, as it will make travel between Patna and Delhi more convenient. Currently, the chair car Vande Bharat Express running on this route also stops at Ara, and bookings are strong, which is why the decision was made to include a stop in the sleeper version as well. The railways are busy preparing for this train, and it is expected to begin operations at the beginning of the new year.

The Vande Bharat Sleeper train will be the country's first high-speed night train of its kind, competing with the Rajdhani Express. It is equipped with the Kavach anti-collision system, which automatically applies the brakes in case of an accident. All coaches will have CCTV cameras, an audio-video information system, and sealed gangways to keep out dust. The automatic plug doors close 10 seconds before the train starts moving, enhancing safety. These features will make the journey safe and comfortable.

The train's interior will resemble a luxury hotel, with comfortable berths, personal reading lights, and high-speed internet access. This 16-coach train will travel at a speed of 160 km/hour, completing the Delhi-Patna journey in 11-12 hours. The railways are also planning to run a similar train on the Patna-Mumbai route, which will include a stop at Ara. This will strengthen regional connectivity and provide passengers with a premium experience while saving time.

This train is considered a significant step towards modernizing Bihar's rail network. Trial runs are expected to begin soon, and regular operations will make travel easier even during festivals or peak seasons. Passengers are advised to check the railway website for official updates.
