BHABHUA------------------------A meeting was held on Monday in Shiv Mandir premises in the block under the chairmanship of Dealer Association Rampur Block President Surendra Singh. He said that in the light of the decision of the State Working Committee of Bihar State Fair Price Dealers Association, on the call of State General Secretary Barun Kumar Singh, to fulfill all the 8-point demands including giving honorarium of Rs 30,000 per month to 55 thousand public distribution vendors of all 534 blocks of 38 districts of Bihar, talks will be held with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at 10 am on 22-7-2025 and the assembly will be surrounded in front of the Chief Minister in Gardanibagh, Patna till the demand is fulfilled.

For the preparation of which, on 20 July 2025, in front of the District Officer in all 38 districts or at the district level as per your convenience, a dharna will be held in the residential office of the District Officer or on Monday, a memorandum will be given to the District Officer by putting up the news published in the newspaper of the meeting.

All the leaders of the organization and the vendors are requested to please cooperate in the siege program in Gardanibag, Patna on 22-7-2025 in the interest of the vendors. Block President Surendra Singh said that on the 22nd, all the dealers from Rampur block will leave for Patna. And where our 8-point demand like 30000 rupees per month honorarium should be given, other useful items other than rice and wheat should be given for distribution through PDS, weekly holiday should be declared, the compulsion of 58 years age limit in compassionate leave should be abolished, life insurance of ten lakhs should be implemented, along with other demands, a dharna demonstration will be held in Gardanibag Patna tomorrow. All the dealers including Ram Ayodhya Sharma, Churan Singh, Rakesh Kumar Patel were present on the occasion.

If seen really, the beneficiaries have been repeatedly reporting large-scale irregularities by the dealers of the Public Distribution System. Not only this, there are many complaints of not giving ration even after thumb impression of beneficiaries, adding names of favourites in the list of public distribution system, deleting names of right beneficiaries and not getting benefits. That is, the responsibilities given till now are not being followed properly. If proper investigation is done, 40% people may be out of this category. Now it has to be seen whether the government is fulfilling their demands or they get a tit for tat reply.
