DDC HELD A REVIEW MEETING REGARDING ELECTION PREPARATONS

ARA--------------------------A review meeting was held through video conferencing in the office room under the chairmanship of Deputy Development Commissioner. Deputy Development Commissioner Mrs. Gunjan Singh said that for the purpose of smooth and inclusive conduct of Bihar Legislative Assembly General Election 2025, Essential Minimum Facility (AMF) will have to reach every booth. In the meeting, detailed discussions were held with the members of the committee to ensure active participation of voters and availability of Essential Minimum Facilities (AMF) like ramp, wheelchair, drinking water, electricity, volunteer, transport facility etc. on the occasion of the upcoming assembly elections. Divyang voters will be provided information about the forms issued by the Election Commission of India—Form 6, 7 and 8—so that registration of all eligible Divyangjan in the electoral list can be ensured. Apart from this, extensive publicity will be done to give information about Voter Helpline App and Saksham App to Divyang voters. Awareness campaign will also be run to ensure their active participation through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) etc. Under the SVEEP activities, Divyang voters will also be made aware through Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) and Campus Ambassador in the colleges and educational institutions of the district. District Panchayati Raj Officer, Director NEP, Sub Election Officer R, Executive Campaign PHD Ara, District Program Officers, Education Department and other officers were present in this meeting.
