ARA---------------------------CPI(ML) General Secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya has linked the Election Commission's new voter list policy to Modi's demonetization and called it 'vote ban'. He called it a conspiracy to confuse the public before the elections and weaken democracy.

He has made serious allegations against the Election Commission before the assembly elections in Bihar. He said that the commission's decision to cancel the voter list and prepare a new list is sudden and disorganized. He called it "vote ban" and comparing it with demonetization, said that just like Modi implemented demonetization without warning, the Election Commission cancelled the voter list in the same way.

He believes that BJP and Election Commission together are deliberately creating tension in Bihar so that the elections can be influenced. He said, "First the vote will be lost, then reservation and then all the rights will be taken away from the Constitution." He warned the public that all this is a conspiracy to weaken democracy.

He said that the BJP's intention is to destroy the Constitution of India. He also expressed his opinion on the recent comments made by the Supreme Court on secularism and socialism. He said that socialism and secularism are the soul of the Constitution, which the BJP wants to remove.

Dipankar Bhattacharya said that the BJP government talks about sovereignty but in reality has mortgaged the country to America. He alleged that all the oil of the country is being purchased from America and the country is being pushed towards President's rule.

He also attacked the Bihar government and said that unemployment is at its peak and the dominance of criminals is increasing under the guise of good governance. He said that the public is not getting employment, education and health.

Regarding the face of the Chief Minister in the Grand Alliance, Dipankar made it clear that Tejashwi Yadav will be the CM candidate of the Grand Alliance. At the same time, he claimed that there is no clarity about Nitish Kumar in the NDA, everyone knows that Nitish is now a showpiece face.

Dipankar, who came to attend the party's 13th district conference, citing the example of England's Headingley Test, said that just as the players performed well in that match but the team lost, similarly the Left parties will now focus on the performance of the entire team and will enter the field unitedly.

Arwal MLA Mahanand Singh, Ghosi MLA Rambali Yadav and a large number of CPI(ML) workers were present in this conference. Everyone resolved to strengthen the party and intensify the struggle on public issues.
