PATNA-------------------------Under the Chief Minister School Safety Program run by Bihar State Disaster Management Authority, the 60th batch of two-day training program of Madrasa Focal Teachers concluded successfully today on Friday at Urdu Academy located at Ashok Rajpath, Patna.

60 Focal Teachers from various Madrasas of Sitamarhi and Muzaffarpur districts participated in this batch. In the closing session, Secretary of the Authority, Mohd. Waris Khan provided training certificates to all the participants.

In his inspirational address, Secretary Mohd. Waris Khan said that the Authority is working with honesty and commitment to spread the information of disaster management to the minority community, especially the children studying in Madrasas. This training not only enables the teachers in the field of disaster management, but through them, actively prepares the children studying in Madrasas within the society as security ambassadors.

He urged all the focal teachers to visit their respective institutions and educate the students on practical ways to deal with potential disasters such as flood, earthquake, fire and drowning.

During the training, a mock drill was also organized by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), in which practical methods of dealing with disasters such as flood, earthquake and drowning were practiced. Through this session, the participants learned the skills to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.

On this occasion, Secretary of Anjuman-e-Taraqqi-e-Urdu Abdul Qayyum Ansari and Nodal Officer of the program Sumbul Afroz were specially present.

This training program of the Authority not only develops the understanding of staying safe during a disaster, but also empowers the entire community through social participation and awareness.
