Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday laid the foundation stone of a total of 92 schemes related to road, bridge, electricity, building and development under the district at a cost of Rs 211 crore 19 lakh. Along with this, the Chief Minister inaugurated a total of 329 schemes related to road, bridge, electricity, building and development at a cost of Rs 87 crore 82 lakh. During the program, the Chief Minister interacted with a large number of pensioner beneficiaries, Jeevika didis and other beneficiaries present at the program venue located at Nayaka Tola, Jagdishpur, Bhojpur.

ARA---------------------------Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday laid the foundation stone of a total of 92 schemes related to road, bridge, electricity, building and development under the district at a cost of Rs 211 crore 19 lakh. Along with this, the Chief Minister inaugurated a total of 329 schemes related to road, bridge, electricity, building and development at a cost of Rs 87 crore 82 lakh. During the program, the Chief Minister interacted with a large number of pensioner beneficiaries, Jeevika didis and other beneficiaries present at the program venue located at Nayaka Tola, Jagdishpur, Bhojpur.
During this, the Chief Minister observed the stalls set up by various departments at the program venue. During the inspection, the Chief Minister provided a symbolic cheque of Rs 2 crore 40 lakh to 187 Jeevika Self Help Groups. Along with this, Basgit Parcha, the key of battery operated tricycle under Mukhyamantri Sambal Yojana was provided to the beneficiaries. The people present thanked the Chief Minister and said that the pension amount of the elderly, disabled and widowed women has been increased from Rs 400 to Rs 1100. Everyone is happy with this.
By providing 125 units of free electricity to domestic consumers, they are getting a lot of benefit. They are using the savings amount in other development works. Jeevika didis praised the work being done by the government towards the upliftment of women and expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister. During this, Mamta sisters expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for increasing the incentive amount by two times and Asha workers expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for increasing the incentive amount by three times.
While talking to the beneficiaries, the Chief Minister said that all of you should live with great height and move forward. Work is being done at every level to make women self-reliant. All of you Jeevika didis associated with self-help groups are doing a very good job. You all should work diligently, the government is helping you in every possible way. Progress your family and make your important contribution to the development of Bihar.
During this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated various developmental schemes for Bhojpur district from the venue built in Nayaka Tola, Jagdishpur by unveiling the stone plaque through remote. Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Water Resources cum Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, other public representatives, Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit, Director General of Police Vinay Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Anupam Kumar, Secretary to the Chief Minister Kumar Ravi, Secretary of Road Construction Department Sandeep R. Pudkalkutty, Commissioner of Patna Division Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Additional Secretary of Water Resources Department Yashpal Meena, Bhojpur DM Tanay Sultania, SP Raj and other senior officials, a large number of beneficiaries, dignitaries and a large number of people were present in the program.
