CM FLAGGED OFF THE SCIENCE EXHIBITION BUS

PATNA----------------------------Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today inaugurated the traveling Science Exhibition Bus service by flagging off the Science Exhibition Bus at a function held at the Patna Planetarium. This bus will travel to various regions of the state and provide important science-related information to students.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated various schemes of the Science, Technology and Technical Education Department. This included the commencement of construction work for the Astra Park at the Patna Planetarium and the inauguration of a souvenir sales center. Additionally, the M.Tech. (Geoinformatics) course under the Department of Civil Engineering was launched at the Bihar Remote Sensing Applications Center, Patna, under the joint auspices of the Bihar Council of Science and Technology and the Bihar Engineering University. The internship portal was also launched at the Planetarium today, and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Bihar Council of Science and Technology and the National Council of Science Museums for the construction of an observatory dome.

The Chief Minister then inaugurated the Virtual Reality Theater, built in the main building of the Planetarium at a cost of ₹5.6 crore. He sat there and observed it, saying that this theater is extremely attractive, where visiting students and visitors will experience not only science but also other new information.

At the end of the program, the Chief Minister presented degrees to engineering graduates of Bihar Engineering University.
