Chaos erupted at the Government +2 High School in Nainijor, Brahmapur block, on Friday morning when two teachers clashed over the attendance register during the children's prayer assembly. The use of sticks, blows, and kicks in front of the children on the school premises became a serious example of indiscipline, not only frightening the children but also causing people in the surrounding area to question the school's management.

According to sources, a minor dispute over signing the attendance register gradually escalated into a heated argument, and before long, physical education teacher Kaushal Kishore Sharma and other teachers were involved in a physical altercation. The dispute escalated to the point where the attendance register was torn. Both sides sustained injuries in the scuffle. The accused physical education teacher, Kaushal Kishore Sharma, was also injured and sent to the Raghunathpur Community Health Center for treatment.

Following the incident, the in-charge headmaster of the school, Dinesh Kumar Pandey, filed a written complaint at the Nainijor police station. He alleged that the teachers attacked him with sticks and damaged essential school documents when he tried to intervene. Upon receiving information about the incident, education department officials became active.

District Education Officer Sandeep Ranjan stated that a thorough investigation into the entire incident will be conducted, and strict action will be taken against the teachers found guilty. It is noteworthy that incidents of disputes and fights among teachers have been reported at this school before, but due to a lack of concrete action at the departmental level, such cases are continuously increasing. Today's incident has once again raised serious questions about the academic discipline and school management of this school.
