CHOWKIDAR DIED DURING TREATMENT
-Chowkidar Sumitra Devi, a Sonbarsa resident injured in a road accident in the Industrial Police Station area, died during treatment. Station House Officer Sanjay Kumar stated that the accident occurred at around 6 a.m. on November 13, 2025, near the Ahirauli turn on NH-922. Sumitra Devi, who was seriously injured in the accident, was referred to BHU, Varanasi, for better treatment, where she died during treatment today.

BUXAR--------------------------Chowkidar Sumitra Devi, a Sonbarsa resident injured in a road accident in the Industrial Police Station area, died during treatment. Station House Officer Sanjay Kumar stated that the accident occurred at around 6 a.m. on November 13, 2025, near the Ahirauli turn on NH-922. Sumitra Devi, who was seriously injured in the accident, was referred to BHU, Varanasi, for better treatment, where she died during treatment today.
According to the Station House Officer, the truck involved in the accident was seized on the day of the accident and kept in the police station premises, and an FIR has been registered. Legal action against the truck driver and owner is now underway.
Sumitra Devi's death has caused an outpouring of grief among the police and chowkidars in the police station area. Station House Officer Sanjay Kumar expressed his condolences to the victim's family and assured all possible assistance to their dependents.
