Tausif Badshah, arrested in this murder case, has made many shocking revelations. According to information received from sources, Chandan Mishra was shot 28 times by shooters. Sheru Singh, who is lodged in Purulia jail in West Bengal, had given the contract for the murder. In this case, Nishu Khan had struck a deal with Sheru Singh and after the murder, each shooter was to be given five lakh rupees.
Tausif had lost 20 lakh rupees in gambling and since then he was going through a period of financial crisis. Nishu Khan's financial condition was also not good, so a contract was taken to kill Chandan Mishra. 10 weapons were provided from Buxar for the murder. Two stolen bikes were used, out of which one bike has been recovered. Three mobile phones and a SIM card used in the murder have also been recovered.
Tausif told during interrogation that he had changed his look after the video of him entering the hospital room for the murder went viral. He got a haircut and shaved his beard as well. The intention behind changing his look was that no one could identify him. After the murder, Tausif went via Phulwari, Ranchi and then fled to Kolkata. According to Tausif, the guest house in Kolkata was booked by Nishu Khan, where his acquaintance worked. Tausif took Nishu along so that the police would not catch him first.
Motive for the murder? Result of gang war between Sheru and Chandan. Amount for the contract? Rs 5 lakh each per shooter. How did they get together? Four shooters from Buxar, Tausif from Phulwari. All gathered at Nishu's house. Where was the weapon found? At Nishu's house. Did you ever meet Sheru? No, never. Contact with Balwant? Met him in jail. Where did he go after firing the shots? Went to Phulwari and then with his family. Where did the other shooters go? Balwant, Raviranjan, Monu and Nilesh fled to Buxar via Danapur.
In the CCTV footage, Tausif was at the front, Balwant at the third and Raviranjan at the back. The one seen wearing a helmet outside was Abhishek. Who played the role of a liner outside. Balwant also contacted people close to Chandan Mishra so that information about his activities could be obtained.

STF and Patna Police have arrested three more people from Ara. Two of them have been shot and are currently undergoing treatment at PMCH. They will also be questioned after treatment. Police raids are continuing in search of other absconding accused. SSP Kartikeya Sharma said that prima facie this case appears to be a case of gang war and contract killing. More shocking revelations are expected in the coming days from the interrogation going on remand.
