BUXAR POLICE ARRESTED TWO MISCREANTS FOR MURDER

BUXAR (RNI) Buxar police arrested two of the three miscreants including a minor from near Langatu Mahadev temple in connection with murder of RJD leader Arjun Yadav and also recovered a country made pistol, two mobiles and the clothes worn by the accused during the incident. The arrested miscreants were identified as Turani Kumar Gupta son of Chhotelal Gupta of Saath village under Itadhi police station in Buxar district. Later the police sent him to jail after interrogation.

Buxar SP Shubham Arya said that someone had given a contract of Rs. 3 lakh to kill Arjun Yadav, the RJD Labour Cell District President, Arjun Yadav son of late Surendra Yadav of Akharipur Gola and the miscreants had shot him deat on May 26, 2025 near the gate of Buxar (Chausa) Thermal Power Plant. An FIR was lodged with the police against eight named and some unnamed persons on the statement of the brother of the deceased. After the murder, he formed a police team and the police team on the basis of CCTV footage, technical evidences, scientific basis and local input arrested two of three miscreants including minor one. He said that the arrested miscreant revealed the matter before the police during interrogation. The police have tightened the noose on the conspirator and also conducting raids to arrest the third miscreant. The SP stated that the arrested miscreant confesed during interrogation their crime and said that there was a third shooter withthem in killing Arjun Yadav.

The SP said that he was shocked to know that only Rs. 3 lakh were given for the murder of Arjun Yadav who had established his dominance in the contracting of Thermal Power Plant at a young age and he had earned a lot of money with fame.
