ARA--------------------------The body of a laborer who drowned in a pond in Kayamnagar village, under the Geedha police station area, was recovered on Thursday morning. According to reports, the deceased was Rahul Paswan, 23, son of Kundan Ram, a resident of Matiara Chakia Tola in the Geedha police station area. He was a laborer.

Prasant Paswan, a neighbor of the deceased, said that he left home at 5 a.m. on Wednesday to work. When he did not return late in the evening, his family searched for him extensively, but could not find him. On Thursday morning, when some village boys went to the pond, they discovered his body in the pond.

Receiving the information, the family arrived and, with the help of local villagers, pulled the body from the water. The police took the body into their custody and conducted a post-mortem. It is said that the deceased was the second of three brothers and one sister. His family includes his mother, Taramuni Devi, his wife, Rita Devi, a son, Manohar, and a daughter, Neetu. Following the incident, the deceased's mother, Taramuni Devi, his wife, Rita Devi, and all the family members are inconsolable.
