ARA---------------------------The body of a student was found hanging from a ceiling fan in the Shri Tola locality of the Nawada police station area on Wednesday night. He had a black mark on his neck, blood on both legs, and a wound on his right elbow. The family is suspecting suicide. According to information, the deceased is Golu Kumar, the 17-year-old son of Ramkumar Yadav, a resident of Anar village in the Bihiya police station area. He was a graduate student. He currently studied in a rented room in a lodge in the Shri Tola locality of the Nawada police station area.

It is reported that he lived with his elder brother in a rented room in a lodge in the Shri Tola locality, and a friend also lived next door to him in the same lodge. However, two days ago, his friend had gone out of Ara to take an exam, so he stayed in his room to study.

On Wednesday evening, he locked the door of his friend's room, tied a towel around his neck, and hanged himself from the ceiling fan. When he didn't answer the door after a considerable time, his elder brother knocked repeatedly. Despite this, he didn't answer. His elder brother then informed the other boys in the lodge and the Dial-112 police vehicle.

Receiving the information, the Dial-112 police vehicle arrived and, upon looking through the ventilator, found him hanging from the ceiling fan. They informed the Nawada police station. Police arrived, broke down the door, and retrieved the body. A post-mortem examination was subsequently conducted.

However, the reason for the student's suicide remains unclear. According to reports, the student filmed a video of himself on his mobile phone before hanging himself. Meanwhile, Nawada Police Station Officer Bipin Bihari stated that it appears the student committed suicide due to a love affair. Police are investigating the matter. It is reported that the student was the younger of two brothers. He is survived by his mother and a brother. His mother and all the family members are inconsolable.
