BJP MLA’S PA’S ATTACK STORY TURNS OUT BE A FFALSE

PATNA---------------------------The truth about the alleged shooting of the BJP MLA's PA has been completely overturned in the police investigation. The bullet that hit Vinod Das, the former Mandal President and PA of BJP leader and Kurhani MLA Kedar Prasad Gupta, was not the result of a contract killing by criminals or an attack during an overtaking incident, but was a direct result of celebratory firing at a wedding ceremony. The shooting took place late Thursday night in Amarkh village of Maniari police station area in Muzaffarpur.

Immediately after the incident, Vinod Das gave a statement to the police that two bike-borne criminals had overtaken him and launched a deadly attack. But when the police started meticulously mapping the crime scene, examining forensic evidence, and matching statements, the entire claim proved to be a hazy layer of lies. SSP Sushil Kumar clearly stated that the initial statement and the facts on the ground did not match at all. Several contradictions were found in the statement, which deepened the suspicion.

Under intense questioning and pressure, the truth came out. The police arrested three people present at the wedding ceremony. A pistol and two live cartridges were also recovered from the spot. This means the case is clear: a careless shot fired during celebratory firing directly hit Vinod Das.

But the biggest question is, why was a false story of an attack by criminals fabricated? According to the police, Vinod Das not only misled the investigation by giving a false statement but also spread unnecessary panic in the area. Legal action is certain against him for this. He is currently admitted to the hospital, but his arrest is considered certain as soon as he recovers.

Vinod Das had previously contested the Mukhiya (village head) election from Amarkh Panchayat (2021) but lost. He is a former BJP Mandal President and currently active as the PA of MLA Kedar Gupta. Therefore, this entire episode has also created a stir in political circles.

Now the police are investigating how an unlicensed weapon reached the ceremony for celebratory firing and who fired the shot and at whose behest? However, one thing has become clear in this Muzaffarpur case: the story was fake, but the bullet was real. And the celebration of negligence is now coming back to haunt them in the form of legal trouble.
