A monthly report card of each panchayat should be prepared, which should be uploaded on the website of the district administration. Now the time has come to restore accountability in every panchayat of Bihar. If the panchayat workers come to the office on time and consider serving the public as their duty, only then the village and society will progress. The district administration should make every panchayat an "accountable unit" and adopt a "zero tolerance" policy on negligence.
